Automatic Reels
SR is Conductix-Wampfler’s highly modular range of Spring driven Reels designed and built to IEC standards and delivered with a CE Declaration.
SR features six defined sizes of drums and flanges, each with multiple springs options and deeply configurable slip rings, to fit a vast number of cable reels applications. Versions for hoses are available. A ratchet can be installed as an option to convert an SR into an extension reel.
SR drums and flanges are manufactured using high-volume manufacturing methods, which ensures high quality and reliability at competitive costs.
The slip rings from the USR series easily mix power, control, signals and data up to 2*CAT6. On request, we add an adapted version of our TFO for Fiber Optics data transmission up to 12 FO with all corresponding advantages: TBps speed, no EMI, no latency, redundancy.
For example, SR with mixed power and data (2xCAT6 or TFO) are used in theatres, with black finish if needed.

Specification
- Semi-wide spools from 320 to 800 mm diameter
- Textured steel long-lifetime springs from 1 to 4 units setup in series or parallel or series-parallel
- Low Voltage USR sliprings up to 40 power, control, signal and data rings, up to 690 V AC, up to 130 A, up to CAT6.
- Reeling cables from our catalog of proven reeling cables: C800, GPM, RXP, RXG, TRA and their reinforced versions.
- For horizontal operation up to 60 m/min or vertical operation up to 30 m/min with acceleration up to 0,3 m/s²
- Precisely configured to the application using rules-based design tool, and customized if required.
