Conductix-Wampfler Motor-Driven Reels are recognized worldwide as long-term reliable, even in very demanding and high-speed applications, and also in harsh, corrosive, dirty, low maintenance environments where other reels are disadvantaged.

At the heart of a MAG Drive reel is a carefully manufactured MAG Coupler: its inner parts’ finely engineered quantum-level magnetic properties interact to output a nearly constant torque over a wide speed range. As the MAG coupler is part of the mechanical drive chain, it instantly and permanently reacts to cable pull variations. Contrary to electronics, even if the power is off, our MAG Coupler maintains the tuned output torque.

Our MAG Drive reels ranges are modular and deeply configurable and this brings you all the advantages of modern, systematic and lean serial industrial manufacturing, including very high quality and reliability at reasonable cost. We use rules-based computerized design systems to offer you the configured motor-driven reel best adapted to your application within these fully industrialized range, plus a finishing touch from our experts if desired.

Conductix-Wampfler MAG Drive reels range use our proven and super-reliable slip rings including the exclusive and patented TFO (Transmitter Fiber Optics) for secure and EMI resistant Fiber Optics networks supporting up to Terabit Ethernet.

Our MAG Drive reels are pre-tuned to the application in our factories and therefore require no Expert commissioning.
